Hammy's Pick: The Best of True Philippine Ghost Stories

Since it is Halloween, I decided to check the bookstore for an addition to my collection of ghost story books. One of the books I purchased was The Best of True Philippine Ghost Stories. The compilation was from the series with 25 books already released entitled True Philippine Ghost Stories which started on 2002. The series was published by PSICOM Publishing when they started compiling ghost stories from all over the internet communities and from personal interviews.

The Best of True Philippine Ghost Stories contains 88 stories from the 25 books that has been published by PSICOM. From white lady, possessed paintings, doppelgangers, haunted places to all the things that will make your spines tingle, it's all here in this book.

WoW: Cataclysm Cinematic Intro Released

Last week, after Blizzard announces the official launch of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, they released the cinematic intro of the third expansion of the famous online game.

The video shows the return of the evil dragon aspect, Deathwing the Destroyer, whose arrival from Deepholme causes a worldwide catastrophe.

They say October 10, 2010 or 10-10-10 was a special day. I did not try to run like some of my office-mates did that day. I'm a little out of shape and I am not ready to break my bones in joining 'run for a cause' marathon.

So I decided to go to SM Megamall to meet some of my friends and have dinner. At the same time there was a cosplay event that is held in Megatrade Hall and I would like to take some pictures of the cosplayers.

I am not really familiar with the characters that they are portraying, if I have described it incorrectly or if you know the person in the picture, just hit the comments section for the information.

WoW: Cataclysm is Near - 12.07.10 (to be exact)

Blizzard officially announced the official release date of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. Cataclysm, which is the third expansion of the most subscribed MMORPG series, is set to be released on December 7, 2010.

The launching was announced over WoW game launchers and Blizzard's official World of Warcraft site with "A New Age Has Begun" as the tag line.

Cataclysm will feature a lot of changes such as 2 new races for both faction, Worgen (Alliance) and Goblin (Horde); new race and class combination; new secondary profession - Archeology; level cap was increased to 85; new high level zones; and the best change is you can use your flying mount in Azeroth.

Blizzard stated on their official press release that:

The expansion will be available on DVD-ROM for Windows® XP/Windows Vista®/Windows® 7 and Macintosh® at a suggested retail price of $39.99 and will also be offered as a digital download from the Blizzard Store. A special Collector’s Edition packed with bonus items will be available exclusively in retail stores for a suggested retail price of $79.99.

Wide Tube Sneak Peak: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows New Trailer

The second trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 has been released a week ago. One of the highlights of the said trailer is the scene where Harry comes face to face with his 6 doppelgangers. This is the part wherein the members of the Order of Phoenix must disguise as Harry to prevent the death eaters from getting the real Harry Potter.

The trailer also shows more scenes with Voldemort proving that with this movie, the character will be seen more as compared from the previous parts of the film series.
